For event organisers
Issue hackathon certificates without the post-event spreadsheet scramble
Create and send verifiable certificates for hackathons, campus fests, and competitions. Handle winners, participants, volunteers, and late requests from one event workspace.
A hackathon ends with more than one recipient list. Winners need their result recognised, participants want proof they took part, and volunteers and mentors deserve their own acknowledgement. Verifycate helps you prepare those certificates from a spreadsheet, send them in batches, and give each recipient a public page they can share and verify.
In Verifycate, create a certificate and attach a Template to it. Use separate certificates for different award types, or use recipient Attributes such as team, track, or award to personalise one design. Import a CSV or Excel list and review the recipients before publishing; publishing issues the certificates and emails recipients. Each issue uses one credit; importing the list does not.
What you can do
Take care of more than the certificate design
01
Separate award types cleanly
Use recipient Attributes such as award or track to prepare the right certificate for each group, including winners, participants, mentors, and volunteers.
02
Give recipients a link they can share
Each issued certificate has a public page, QR code, and downloadable PNG or PDF. Recipients can add it to LinkedIn.
03
Handle late names and spelling fixes
Share the Issue Request Form link when someone is missing from the list. Recipients can also use the Correction Form to request a change to an issued certificate.

Read the guideCommon questions
- Can one event issue winner and participation certificates?
- Yes. Create a separate certificate and Template for each award category, or use recipient Attributes to personalise one certificate design by category.
- Can people request a certificate if we missed their name?
- Yes. Share the Issue Request Form link. Applicants confirm their email with a one-time code, then submit their details. Choose Issue Automatically or Review Before Issuing; submissions appear in Issue Requests.
- Can a recipient fix a typo after a certificate is sent?
- They can use the Correction Form from their certificate page and confirm their email with a one-time code. Choose Apply Automatically or Review Before Applying. An applied change updates the existing certificate page and does not use another credit.
- Do certificates have a public verification page?
- Yes. Every issued certificate has a QR code and public page where someone can check its credential details and signature.
