Where Certopus leads
They do some things we don't, and pretending otherwise wouldn't help you decide. These are the capabilities we can't match — if any of them is the point for you, pick them.
- Web3 credentials on Polygon ID — something we don't do at all.
- Learning pathways that chain credentials into progression tracks.
- A native integration catalogue — Google Forms, Thinkific, Canvas, Moodle, Zapier, Make, and more.
- Recipient credential wallets and landing pages.
- A verified-issuer blue tick, and a startup credit programme with 90% off for three months.
Why teams choose Verifycate
- Credits carry over instead of resetting, and the price for any volume is on the pricing page rather than behind a selector.
- Certificate Requests replace the attendance spreadsheet — share one link and recipients submit their own details.
- Sponsors get a named slot on the public certificate page, with a logo, a link, and a caption.
- Every issued page stays live even if you stop paying.
Pick Certopus if
Your workflow already runs through Google Forms or Zapier, or you want Web3 credentials and learning pathways.
Common questions
- How much does Certopus cost?
- The free plan gives 250 credentials, 2 events, and 1 seat. Standard is $24.99/month and Professional $62.49/month billed annually, before the volume selector (250 to 24,000 credentials a year) adjusts the price — so event-scale pricing isn't visible until you configure the selector. API keys, custom domains, and branded QR codes are paid add-ons on Standard.
- Certopus or Verifycate for an Indian organiser?
- Certopus sells in USD despite its Indian roots, and the effective price at event scale is opaque until you configure the volume selector. Verifycate bills in rupees at ₹2,999 a year for 1,200 credits, with every feature on one plan. If you specifically want Web3 credentials on Polygon ID or learning pathways, Certopus is the one that has them.
- Does Certopus support Open Badges?
- Yes — Open Badges 3.0 and W3C Verifiable Credentials, plus Web3 issuance on Polygon ID. Verifycate covers Open Badge 3.0 too, but has no Web3 story. If Polygon ID matters to your programme, Certopus is the stronger pick.
Send the certificates tonight.
Every certificate gets a QR code and a public page anyone can verify. Pro is $54 a year with credits that never expire — and the first 300 certificates are free, no card.
Worth knowing: Unlock Forms aren't for collecting names you never had — Certificate Request links do that. Unlock Forms do the opposite job: after the event, each recipient gets a private link and completes your feedback form or leaves a testimonial before their certificate is released.
“Sixty-plus events for Vidyut 2025 — over 5,000 students — certificates out in under a day.”
