Last updated 1 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Verifycate handles personal information when you use our website, app, and certificate services. By using Verifycate, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect information needed to run the service, issue certificates, and support your workspace.

  • Account details such as your name, email address, and authentication provider identifiers when you sign up or log in.
  • Workspace and billing information, including organisation name, plan selection, and payment-related records handled by our payment processors.
  • Certificate and recipient data you upload or create, including names, email addresses, event or course details, and any custom fields you add to a template.
  • Usage and device information, such as pages viewed, actions taken in the product, IP address, browser type, and timestamps, collected through logs and similar technologies.
  • Communications you send us, including support requests and feedback.

How we use information

We use personal information to operate, improve, and secure Verifycate.

  • Create and manage your account and workspace.
  • Issue, deliver, verify, and display certificates and related public pages.
  • Process payments, provide support, and communicate about the service.
  • Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share data only when needed to provide the service, with your direction, or when required by law.

  • Service providers that host infrastructure, send email, process payments, or provide analytics, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Recipients and the public, when you publish a certificate or verification page that includes recipient details.
  • Authorities or third parties when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale with appropriate safeguards.

Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Certificate pages you have issued may remain publicly available after an event unless you remove or update them, as described in the product.

We may retain certain records for legal, accounting, or security purposes after deletion requests where permitted or required.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to object to some uses.

You can update many account details in the app. To make a privacy request, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, and analytics. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

Children

Verifycate is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
