For community organisers
Recognise volunteers with certificates they can share and verify
Prepare and issue certificates for volunteers, community organisers, and event teams. Add programme details to each certificate and give recipients a public page they can share.
After a community event or volunteer programme, organisers want to recognise the people who helped. The list may include different roles, activities, or service periods, with details that should appear on each person’s certificate. Verifycate helps you issue certificates from the records your organisation has prepared.
Create a certificate and Template for the recognition you are giving. Add certificate Attributes for information such as programme, activity, event date, or role, then import the recipient list and map each column. If your organisation records service hours, you can include those values as recipient details, but Verifycate does not verify hours or determine volunteer eligibility. Review the list before publishing to issue and email certificates.
What you can do
Take care of more than the certificate design
01
Recognise different volunteer roles
Use separate certificates when roles need different wording, or use certificate Attributes such as role, activity, or programme to personalise a shared Template.
02
Prepare a large list together
Import volunteer names and email addresses from CSV or Excel, map the columns, and review the recipient list before issuing certificates.
03
Help volunteers share their contribution
Recipients can open a public certificate page, download a PNG or PDF, share a link, add the credential to LinkedIn, or let someone check its QR code.
The workflow
A simple closeout process
- 01
Confirm the recognition and recipient groups
Decide whether you are recognising event participation, a volunteer role, or a programme contribution. Confirm the eligible list in your organisation’s records.
- 02
Prepare volunteer details
Include each recipient’s name and email address, plus the programme, role, activity, or service details you want displayed.
- 03
Design the certificate
Create a Template with your organisation and programme details. Use certificate Attributes for information that changes from one volunteer to another.
- 04
Import and issue
Upload the prepared list, map its columns to recipient details and Attributes, review the recipients, and publish to issue and email certificates.

- Can Verifycate confirm a volunteer’s service hours?
- No. Your organisation provides and checks service-hour records. You can include those values in recipient data as certificate Attributes if they should appear on a certificate.
- Can volunteers from different activities receive different wording?
- Yes. Create separate certificates and Templates for groups with different wording, or use recipient Attributes such as activity and role in one Template.
- What if a volunteer is missing from the list?
- Share the Issue Request Form and choose Review Before Issuing if an organiser needs to check the volunteer’s participation before issuing a certificate.
- Can a volunteer fix a typo after receiving a certificate?
- Yes. A recipient can submit a Correction Form request from their certificate page. You can choose whether corrections are applied automatically or reviewed first.
