Set up request and correction forms with a wizard

A guided setup walks through form fields, approval mode, and confirmation, so a first-time organiser can turn on a recipient form without guessing.

By Ashwin Shenoy · Founder and engineer

Recipient forms have several decisions: which fields to collect, whether to review submissions, and what happens after approval. Spread across a settings page, those decisions are easy to miss.

The setup is now a wizard.

The three steps

Form fields. Choose what the applicant or recipient provides. Matching field keys can fill the certificate's Attributes when the request is approved.

Approval mode. Decide whether submissions are reviewed or issued automatically. For Issue Requests, you can also limit the form to recipients already on the certificate.

Confirm. Review the configuration and turn the form on. The public link is generated when the form is enabled; copy it from the Configure tab or the form area.

The wizard is available when you enable Issue Requests or a Correction Form on a certificate.

Who it helps

A first-time fest organiser who has never configured a form. A department administrator who needs a correction form but does not want to expose the award or date. A training provider setting up the same feedback workflow for a new cohort.

The wizard is a setup aid, not a different form engine. The form still behaves according to the fields and approval mode you choose.
