Buy credits once and use them when you need them
Credits now sit on the workspace balance. Buy a top-up pack when you need one, and unused credits stay there — they do not expire.
Event work is seasonal. A fest might need 5,000 issues in one week, then nothing for a month. A monthly allowance that resets is a poor fit.

How the balance works
Buy a top-up pack when a large event is coming, or add a smaller pack for a single workshop. Unused credits stay on the balance and roll over. They do not disappear at the end of a billing period. Credits included with a Pro seat and credits from a top-up pack sit together, so the issue dialog shows one number.
What spends a credit
One certificate issue, including an issue triggered by a request or an unlock response. A reissue spends one as well, because it puts a new certificate in the recipient's hands. Making a certificate blockchain-verifiable adds one extra credit on top.
Importing recipients, designing certificates, verifying them, and applying corrections do not spend credits.
