Email the certificate the moment it is issued

Issuing a certificate now sends the recipient an email with their public page, with delivery status visible to your team.

By Ashwin Shenoy · Founder and engineer

Issuing used to stop at the certificate record. Someone still had to tell the recipient it existed.

Issuing now sends the email. The message carries a link to the recipient's public page, uses the certificate and workspace details, and appears in the recipients list with its delivery status. A bounce is visible instead of disappearing into a mailbox.

The gap between "issued" and "received" is where most certificate support questions come from. Sending as part of the issue closes it, and gives the team one place to check what happened. An issue email spends the same one credit as the certificate it delivers.
