Reissue recipients onto the latest design

Filter recipients by design version, select the people holding an older copy, and reissue only them when the certificate artwork changes.

By Ashwin Shenoy · Founder and engineer

A sponsor logo is added after the first send. A signatory is corrected. A typo in the event name is fixed. The design changes, but the people who already received the old version still hold it.

The recipients list can now isolate them.

The workflow

Open the certificate's Recipients tab and filter by design version. The list shows who received the earlier version. Select the recipients who need the new design and choose reissue. The confirmation states how many certificates will be reissued and the credit cost before it runs.

Reissuing sends the recipient a new certificate and email. It is not a correction: the old certificate is replaced in the recipient's experience, and the new version reflects the updated design.

When not to reissue

If the only problem is a recipient's name or college, use the Correction Form instead. A correction updates the same certificate and public page without spending a credit. Reissue when the artwork or shared content changed for everyone holding the old version.

The cost

One reissue spends one credit per certificate. Filtering by version is the point: you pay for the people who actually need the new copy, not the whole event list.
