Release everyone waiting without turning off the form

If the response deadline arrives and people are still waiting, release their certificates in one action while leaving the Unlock Form available for anyone who responds later.

By Ashwin Shenoy · Founder and engineer

A feedback-gated release is useful until the deadline. Then the form becomes the reason people do not have their certificates.

The waiting group can now be released without switching the form off.

What the action does

From the certificate's Unlock Form area, release the recipients who have not submitted. Their certificates are issued and emailed. The form remains active for anyone who arrives later, and new responses still follow the release rule you configured.

Use it when the event is over and the response rate has stopped moving, when a cohort needs the certificate for a deadline, or when the form was collecting optional feedback rather than a required deliverable.

What it costs

Each released certificate spends one credit. The confirmation shows how many recipients will be released before it runs. If the balance is short, the action stops rather than releasing half the group.

What it does not fix

Releasing the waiting group does not make the responses arrive. If the feedback itself matters, keep the form on and use reminders first. If it does not, release and move on. The distinction is a programme decision, not a product one.
