Corporate training certificates for L&D and compliance

Run employee training certificates with expiry, SSO, SCIM, audit logs, department lists, and a record that holds up when compliance asks for evidence.

On this page

An employee certificate is a compliance record. The questions are who completed what, when it expires, and who can prove it. The certificate is the visible artefact; the list, permissions, and renewal sit behind it.

Verifycate issues from HR or LMS data, keeps expiry and renewal on the record, and on Pro adds SSO, SCIM, and audit logs. The same workspace can run several departments without losing the policy.

This page covers where the value shows up, the platform fit, the programmes, the controls, and the rollout.

How L&D runs certificates

Corporate training is not one cohort. Departments, locations, roles, and hire cohorts each produce a subset, and each renews on a different date.

The usual stack is an LMS export, a renewal spreadsheet, an email template, and a shared drive. The certificate is a PDF in that drive. When an auditor asks for evidence, someone reconstructs the record from three systems.

Programme types

Scale and roles

  • Roles. Workspace members and roles control who can issue, correct, or export.
  • SSO and SCIM. OIDC/SAML and directory provisioning on Pro.
  • Audit logs. Reviewable workspace activity with filters and CSV export on Pro.
  • Brand. Certificate pages on your domain and email from your provider or SMTP.
  • Credits. One per certificate issue; corrections do not spend a credit.

Adoption path

  1. One department. Issue one cohort and agree the public-page policy.
  2. One curriculum. Add courses and renewal dates, and standardise the Template.
  3. The company. Connect SSO and SCIM, set roles, and extend by department.

Common questions

Can we keep employee certificates private?
Yes. Do not distribute the public link outside the organisation, or use the certificate for internal records only. Pages are noindex, but anyone with the link can open them.
Do you support SSO, SCIM, and audit logs?
Yes, on Pro: OIDC and SAML 2.0 SSO, SCIM provisioning, and workspace audit logs with filters and CSV export.
How do renewals and expiry work?
Set an expiry date at issue and extend it when the employee renews. The public page reports validity.
Can we issue by department?
Yes. Keep department, location, role, and course as Attributes, then issue in batches by cohort.
