Import recipients from Fillout

   Connect Fillout

   Create a Forms API key in Fillout's developer settings, choose the matching region, and paste the key. Verifycate confirms access before the connection is saved.

   Choose a form

   Your forms are listed by name. Pick the one that collected the recipients.

   Map questions and import

   Questions map by ID to name, email and Attributes. Review the mapped rows, validate the addresses, then add them to the certificate.

Stable mappings

Question IDs survive form edits. A renamed question keeps its mapping and shows the new label, so a copy tweak in Fillout never silently moves data into the wrong certificate Attribute.

Calculations become their own columns, and URL parameters such as utm_source arrive as hidden fields that can still be mapped to Attributes.

Common questions

Does Verifycate create or change form submissions?

No. The connection reads forms and their completed submissions only. Editing responses happens in Fillout.

What happens if I edit a question after mapping it?

Mappings use Fillout's question IDs, not positions. Renaming a question keeps its mapping and shows the new label; deleting it marks that column as missing so you can remap before importing.

How do structured fields such as Address or File Upload map?

Fillout returns structured answers as objects or arrays. Verifycate flattens them into a readable cell, so Address becomes a single value and a file upload becomes its download URL. If you need one specific subfield as an Attribute, check a sample response before mapping.

Which submissions are pulled?

Finished submissions only, newest first, up to 5,000 per import. Partial and preview responses are skipped.

My account is hosted outside the US. Does that work?

Yes. Fillout API keys are region-specific. Pick the US or EU host when you connect, or enter the custom host shown in your Fillout developer settings for an Enterprise account.
