Forms and data integration
Import recipients from Jotform
Connect a Jotform API key, choose a form, and map its questions to recipient name, email and certificate Attributes. EU, HIPAA and custom API hosts are supported.
Import
Submissions in, recipients out
Jotform forms map by question ID, and composite fields arrive as the readable value rather than a raw object.
- 01
Connect Jotform
Create an API key in your Jotform account, pick your regional API host, and paste the key.
- 02
Choose a form
Forms are listed with their questions. Headings, page breaks and payment controls are skipped.
- 03
Map questions and import
Map questions to name, email and Attributes, then review and validate the rows before adding them to the certificate.
Regional and private hosts
The API host is chosen per connection, because a Jotform account provisioned in the EU or HIPAA region answers on its own domain. Enterprise accounts on a custom API domain can enter that URL instead of picking one of the defaults.
Common questions
- Does Verifycate support EU or HIPAA Jotform accounts?
- Yes. Choose the API host when connecting: api.jotform.com for standard accounts, eu-api.jotform.com for the EU region, or hipaa-api.jotform.com for HIPAA. Enterprise accounts can also enter their own API URL.
- How are full names and address fields handled?
- Composite fields are imported as the readable value Jotform renders — a full name arrives as one name rather than a JSON object — so it maps cleanly to the recipient name.
- Does Verifycate modify submissions?
- No. Only forms, questions and submissions are read. Nothing in Jotform is created, edited or deleted.
