Events and attendance integration
Import guests from Luma
Connect a Luma calendar API key, choose an event, and map guest details and registration answers to recipient name, email and certificate Attributes. Requires Luma Plus.
Issue certificates to the people who actually showed up, straight from your Luma guest list.
Import
From RSVPs to ready-to-issue recipients
Built for meetups, workshops and community events where the guest list already lives in Luma.
- 01
Create a calendar API key
In Luma, open the calendar's API keys page and generate a key. Keys are scoped to one calendar, so connect one key per calendar you issue from.
- 02
Choose the event
Verifycate lists the events that calendar manages, with the date beside each name so recurring series stay distinguishable.
- 03
Map guests and import
Map name, email, approval status, ticket, check-in and registration answers. Validate the addresses, then add the rows to the certificate.
Attendance, not just registration
Guest rows include the ticket name and check-in timestamp. Map those columns to certificate Attributes when attendance is part of the credential, or leave them unmapped when registration alone qualifies.
Common questions
- Do I need Luma Plus?
- Yes. Luma's public API, and therefore this connection, is available on calendars with a Luma Plus subscription. Generate the API key from the calendar you want to import from.
- Which guests are imported?
- Every guest on the event, including approved, pending, invited and waitlist guests, up to 5,000 rows per import. The Approval status column lets you filter or map the list you want.
- Can I import registration answers?
- Yes. Each registration question becomes its own column, keyed by question ID so a label edit keeps the mapping. Built-in fields such as name, email, ticket and check-in time are included too.
