Forms and data integration
Import recipients from Notion
Share a Notion database with an internal integration, then map its properties to recipient name, email and certificate Attributes. Property IDs keep the mapping stable when you rename a column.
Import
From a shared database to ready-to-issue recipients
Built for course creators and community teams that already track learners in Notion.
- 01
Create an internal integration
In Notion, create an internal integration with read content access and copy its token. Verifycate confirms the workspace before the connection is saved.
- 02
Share the database with it
Open the database, choose ••• → Connections, and add the integration. Only databases you share this way appear in the picker.
- 03
Map properties and import
Properties map by ID to name, email and Attributes. Review the preview, validate the addresses, then add the rows to the certificate.
Stable mappings
Notion property IDs survive renames and reordering, so tidying the database does not silently move data into the wrong certificate Attribute.
Common questions
- Why can't Verifycate see my Notion database?
- Notion connections only see databases explicitly shared with them. Open the database, choose ••• → Connections, and add the integration you created for Verifycate. Then reload the source picker.
- What happens when I rename a Notion property?
- Mappings use Notion property IDs, not names or positions. A rename keeps the mapping and shows the new label; if you delete a property, that column is marked missing so you can remap before importing.
- Which Notion property types are supported?
- Title, rich text, email, phone, URL, number, checkbox, select, status, multi-select, date, people, files, relation, formula, rollup, unique ID and the created/edited timestamps. Values are flattened to text for the mapping step.
