Volunteer certificates for hours, roles and service

Issue volunteer and community service certificates with roles, hours, and event details — from NSS and club teams to nonprofits that need a verifiable record.

On this page

Volunteer certificates are often the only formal record of the work. They should state the role, programme, and dates, and they should be specific enough for a coordinator or scholarship reviewer to accept.

Verifycate turns a volunteer roster into certificates with a public page, a QR code, and a correction path. Hours are optional; the platform records what the programme actually tracks.

This page covers the platform pieces, what they replace, the options for a coordinator, and the outcomes worth measuring.

Hours12 hours across three daysUseful for service requirements

Hours are optional. If you do not track them, do not invent them. A role and a date range are enough for most recognition; a service-learning programme may need hours and a supervisor’s name.

Choices you control

  • Hours or no hours. Include them only when you track them.
  • One event or a summary. Issue per event, or one certificate for a year of service.
  • Programme identity. Use the organisation’s logo and programme name.
  • Review requests. Review before issuing for service claims, or issue automatically.
  • Credits. One per certificate issue; corrections do not spend a credit.

Who it fits

NSS and campus service programmes, fest volunteer teams, club committees, community organisations, and nonprofit programmes. The roster can come from a sign-in sheet, a coordinator, or a registration form.

Common questions

Should volunteer certificates include hours?
Include them when you track them and a service requirement needs them. If you do not track hours, use role and dates instead of estimating.
Can volunteers request a certificate if they were missed?
Yes. Share the Issue Request Form; applicants confirm their email with a one-time code.
Do volunteers need a public page?
It helps if they want to share the recognition, and the page is noindex. If the programme is sensitive, keep the link private.
Is there a free tier for small nonprofits?
Yes. 300 credits on signup, no card. Credits do not expire.
